Fire Damage and Restoration

This local home had a fire in the garage and suffered smoke damage throughout the entire house. Smoke can cause a layer of soot to cling to every surface and permeate everything with its odor. Plastic, fabric, wood and grease all burn differently and leave different soot particles behind. Soot can damage surfaces it comes in contact with, at times causing pitting and other times staining. Using the wrong method to clean soot can spread the soot rather than clean it and in some instances cause more damage. The quicker one of our trained professionals can begin the remediation, the less damage the soot will cause. Once we have cleaned everything, we use an ozone treatment to clear the air of the pervasive odor of smoke.
